@ugdpyYes as stated in one of my earlier posts in this topic Redacted map layout for this mode is horrible!
But what about Hourglass where one team (the one starting North) has early access to the high ground, that is the bridge section? Equally stupid layout choice!I was really hoping for some kind of variant on Breakthrough, where the enemy are the Geists and there are limitless amounts of them trying to stop you reaching a control point in the game where you deactivate them for each sector, until you reach the end and have stopped them.
As it is, it's fun, but it feel like the team that gets the first couple of nodes always wins. I don't know why that is, but that's my experience. I like it on the whole, but it should (in my opinion) be Redacted only. The open maps are an invitation for snipers to constantly target the Geist device to stop their enemy activating it for their side.
Also, the way the Nodes appear, it's too easy for a team to stop the opposition from getting anywhere near the active one, if it's behind the one they just captured.

As with pretty much every mode and map in this game. Zero thought was put into spawn and objective locations.
On Killswitch, most of the time one team caps 5 times while the rest of that team fights the other team over the forge. It feels like you should have to hold the objective before you can use the forge. The objectives need to have more value.Also, in every round, an entire squad is just sniping Geists from our spawn and doing nothing else. I know that this is in every mode, but with so few players on each team, that is a bigger percentage of players camping.
This in general makes for a very boring mode.

Haven't logged into forums in forever, but did so just to say how much this mode sucks. And those that drag out the games are the worst... - iigloo2 years agoSeasoned Ace@RanzigeRidder2 A pile of crap. Nothing fun, extra ordinary or interesting. Singleplayer against bots are on the same level
- @RanzigeRidder2 I don't really like it! Both sides need forges for AI soldiers! And they need guns, so that it feels like a regular game match! also where are my AI T rex soldiers ?
@CrispyPenguin420 I don't like it either. I played to get the rewards unlocked and that's it. The idea of having one spawn for Geists that needs to be fought over and controlled isn't the worst. The locations of these forges and having them fixed in one location is bad though! Take Redacted for example, the forge is almost directly at the end of the tunnel of the team that spawns at the bottom, why not put it on the middle of the objective that in Conquest is B? As such both teams have equal chance of conquering and controlling it.
This is what is wrong with the mode in my opinion:- 12v12 Playercount is too small
- Poor map design (with Redacted and Hourglass taking the crown here)
- Geists are even dumber tham usual AI, often standing still on an objective
- Geists are not scary, just annoying
- No T-rex š
All in all this mode seems rushed, like an afterthought someone had on a Friday afternoon before logging off for the weekend. Another indication of this, week 2 of the event went live Yesterday, instead of bringing it to 4 different maps, it's on the same maps again, the only thing that changed is we get 3 new rewards to unlock.
I'm glad I'm almost done with this week's 60 ribbons on it, one more game of it and I'm done.
Which brings me to the only positive thing about this mode: It's only here for another 6 days! After which it never returns I hope š¤ No Dice we don't need another Redux!!!- SharpGoblin2 years agoLegend

For some reason that I cannot explain, it seems that there is almost always one team snowballing while the other team seems to be completely helpless.
While that is not unusual in BF games, I can feel it a lot most strongly in Killswitch
