I have honestly not seen any jets in 2042 which do not go first for other jets when they see them. To ignore the enemy jet is to invite a bogey on your tail at a bad time.
Perhaps the 6.2 changes will make jets more likely to dogfight than before.
@UP_Hawxxeye Aren't they buffing the range of jet rockets in 6.2 to 800m? Doesn't sound like an incentive to dog fight to me...
