Sweet!

A step in the right direction.  I'd prefer McKay's trait to be replaced entirely (faster reloads perhaps).

I have mixed feelings on the global ADS movement.  ADAD spam will be more effective and I don't think this added twitchiness will be doing the netcode any favors.

Personally, I didn't find Mackay's ADS thing nearly as annoying as his grappling hook or Sundance flying all over the damn place. 

Whoever thought those two abilities up should be hung by their toes and fed Ex-Lax 👿 (I'm kidding by the way forum mods!)

I honestly haven't noticed the difference between Mackay and other specialists thus far so this should be interesting

@Ironhead841Good, very good, and this is coming from someone who mains him. He's also my most used specialist (I've T1ed every specialist expect for a couple so I'm not one of those sad players that only uses him and constantly bounces around like a clown - which is another great reason for it to be tweeked).

Got zero issue with with his grappling hook (and ads speed when ziplining) or sundance's flight suit, they work great but also have their faults, it's the fact that he's the only character with clearly better movement speed that makes him an ideal choice over others. Getting this toned downed and everyone else's ads speed slightly adjusted will balance things out. Like someone mentioned above, making him have a quicker reload speed to compensate would be nice. Just hope the devs don't bungle something up in the process (they will lol).

I also can't wait for Irish to have his trait switched to Cache Point. At the moment, he's the only specialist that can passively acquire armor. As great as it has been, when this is gone the only way for anyone to have armor is by actually selecting it as a gadget to choose. Another balanced change I'm looking forward to.

Agreed, I am not a fan of those two abilities in a BF game, unfortunately they are most likely here to stay.

I think most people conflate quick movement with his strafe speed. You can be just as twitchy with any Specialist. I’m still convinced that most of the people complaining about him don’t understand how his movement buff even works. 

I like the changes. Hopefully they don’t go too far with adjusting him. The global increase is great! Really looking forward to that. 

I totally agree with his grapple and Sundance flying around being obnoxious. I’d love for both of their abilities to be removed. His grapple is fun, but doesn’t really fit the game. Sundance just looks ridiculous flying around. 

Seems like the game is progressing in the right direction. 

Considering that people had been asking for a nerf to that passive since the beta, it took really long for this to happen.

I believe that a lot of the "heavy" weapons have too slow  ADS strafe speed and I felt the need to use  Mackay just in order to offset that.

Great change. This passive is the single most cancer thing in BF2042. Spamming ADAD requires no skill, but countering this with the good aim is borderline impossible in a 1v1. I would even prefer for it to be replaced with something like the ability to climb higher ledges, or faster movement speed when sprinting, but not ADAD spam. 

@UP_LordPlumberADAD spam and knee sliding are basically legalized cheating in my book :D
