Look.. I get it, you play Mackay.
Movement is not slow in this game, maybe you're playing the wrong game if you think that?
MacNeophyte moves twice as fast as everybody else..
Therein lies the issue.MacScrub's grapple is insane as it is, AND, he has twice the ADS speed of any other specialist..
BROKEN!
If you can't see an issue there, you're brain damaged(Friendly BD :-)).
Anyway, I'm used to him and it's too late to change it now, people would develop unknown syndromes.
He's just a poorly conceived idea.
Mackay removed, the game's more like battlefield.
2042 is extremely unpredictable, and MacKay is a leading factor in that.
Gimme Sundance any day..
Un-Nerfed.
I’m playing the wrong game? I like the pacing and movement and you would know that if you actually read any of my post.
He ONLY gets a speed buff while aiming down sights. This perk was in BFV as well. It had the same speed increase of 60% while ADS. If they gave that option to other Specialist I’d pick them far more often. I ran that on every class in BFV.
No need to be rude with the brain damage comment. Putting friendly afterwards doesn’t make it friendly lol.
I have a good amount of issues with the game, mostly small ones at this point, but I’ve never felt fighting a Mackay was anything special. Like I said, his base speed is EXACTLY the same as everyone else. The only specialist I feel something is off with is Sundance and maybe Rao. I have the worst hit reg more often against those two.
The player that kills you with MacKay would kill you with any specialist.
Higher strafe speed while ADS is the best passive ability of any specialist.
I think it is overpowered giving it to one specialist, but I wouldn't mind all specialists being buffed to have the same ADS-speed as MacKay.
In BFV you could choose this in the weapon customization system, and it was always worth selecting, even if it meant missing out on some other 'nice things' for that weapon (like lower vertical recoil etc).
IMHO ADS-speed should be tied to weapon selection (like in Apex), this would differentiate the guns in a "meaningful way" and not give one specialist an unfair advantage. Handguns being the fastest, then SMGs/shotguns, then ARs(/DMRs), then LMGs and finally bolt-actions being the slowest. Even magnification of optics could be considered for determining ADS-speed.

The brain damaged comment was making a point, and if you took it badly after the way I wrote it, too bad.
You keep talking about it's only when you ADS?
THAT IS LITERALLY ALL OF THE TIME!
MacNeoScrub is OP.
End of Story..

Mackay is only OP if you’re really bad to begin with. End of story.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t sprint everywhere while ADS. I’ll alternate between hip and aiming all in a single fight. Not sure why you’re trying to make that an all or nothing thing. You should practice that.
It also sounds like you you hard scope in all your fights and little Mackay is just moving a little too quick for you. Try different sights, mirror their movement, alternate between hip fire and ADS? Try incorporating sliding more into your gunfights? Work on positioning?

Sounds like you talk an awful lot of crap, like many on this forum.
I don't need to practice ****, thanks.
You state the MacNeophyte operative would kill the player irregardless of specialist..
Wrong.
Which is what the OP is talking about.
As I said, I'm used to MacScrub, I literally don't care.
But he is OP as FK.
End of story..
