Make it possible to pick the gender of your specialist

Maybe for the next game but at the moment I think there are more important things to address.

Someone needs to create the models (skeletal, cloth, animations etc.), set up and record audio lines, and tweak some UI to make it happen - While options are great for the consumer, these design choices would temporarily take from other aspects of the game and we need them focusing on stability and stuff. 

@BlaiiszeWhy don't you play Sundance? And then Boris? But you can't have Boris with a wingsuit. You have options. But the traits, voices, phrases, etc, take a lot of time to make.

You are talking about a male Sundance and a female Boris, right? Think about the huge amount of work they will have to create and animating 3d models, hiring voice actors, write lines, add these characters in the game, then making them fit the screen...

They barely could make a scoreboard. They said "end of round" and we thought "statistics," like in BF1, so that was disappointing. Imagine this.

I don't want to crush you ideas with negativity, but to be realistic.

There are options. Think about the situations that require specialists and use them all. Use a Boris when you want to defend a flag or fight 3 enemies, and a Sundance to quickly travel a far distance and place a good beacon for your squad mates, or to scare some tanks and helicopters while behind cover. If there are no tanks, no flags to defend, and you slowly approach a new flag, then go with McKay.

You need to play them all, that is my main point.

And maybe Boris is a girl and Sundance is a dude. Don't assume their gender.

Well then why is it so hard to make the pixels into a male character, and you guys have to reailze that some people have Dignity, and playing as the opposite gender makes me feel as though i have lost a bunch of dignity

it isn't happening.  i'll say it right now, they are not going to do what you want nor should they divert resources for something like that.  if you feel the need to play as a female pick a female specialist.  and you aren't "stuck" on borris. you can pick another character and play without a turret (that is a broken wall hack bot anyway)

did u not read what i wrote,

i want to play sundance because she has an amazing ability, her grenades (i dont really care about her flight)

but i dont want to play sundance because she is a girl character, 

they can make it so that when you choose your specailist, there will be a male and female option for that specailist, so the abilities and everything for that specialist will stay the same, the only thing that will change is the visual appearence

WRAP YOURS HEADS AROUND THAT IDEA, and stop writing the same stuff, not everyone is the same

psubond, how is it my fault that the turret is broken, plus the turret sucks, its more of a scanner than a turret, it almost never kills anyone

I removed the previous comment by you as a solution. We'll share your request with the team and monitor comment sentiment on being able to play the same specialist as two different genders.
