Fully understand your concern @Edesktopgold ,

Only real remedy we have is simply just not to join such servers then again.  Some private run servers and clans are doing a good job and they tend to do very well longtime also.  While those managed by abusive clan leads will typically die out from other players joining them pretty quick.

We have had many posts here over the years and also again here recently now with the BF2042 Portal option, why some players do not want to see servers run by privates/clans.  So that should not be an unfamiliar subject to you.  Maybe in your gameplay you have been so fortunately never to have experienced any abuse when playing on a server run by a big clan that gave preferential treatment to their own members versus casual players coming on to play on 'the clan lead' server.  But it does unfortunately happen.  But private server owners and the clan leads who have the admin rights can in principle do as they want, as long as they adhere to EA's TOS and code of conduct. 

Reason why I just suggest to keep it simple and move on, if experiencing such treatment.  I do not see why the majority of good clan players should be penalized and not getting their servers as they want, just because a subset are not behaving. 

Haha. Sounds like a troll topic, if I ever heard one. *nibble* EA always keeps their own official servers full. If you'd like to evade bans for not following clan server rules, you'll have that choice. Personally, I love clan servers and those manipulative clans with their itchy admin fingers. I hope to be one of those admins, because there's nothing like banning someone who's eluded the anti-cheat. And let's face it, with the source code for Frostbite out there, it's going to be up to admins to keep 2042 servers free of headaches. Better a clan server than an official server, I say. Having that choice would be best for all.

Official servers are terrible on PC. I have always played on clan servers when I had the choice.
