Cyberpunk 2077 was playable at least.

BF has its own share of big problems but c'mon, Cyberpunk? .....really? I preordered that game and had to drop it for a while until the updates fixed some of the game breaking issues. It's close second to No Man's Sky as far as botched releases in my opinion but at least NMS made a herculean effort to really turn their game around.

We can only hope that Portal gets expanded once the game releases to all on 19th as it has not taken off the way I expected.

I just cancelled my pre-order. Awful game.

@Kean_1111Gotta agree there. Cyberpunk was a legit mess. It's like when people try to compare Avengers to Anthem...all because the Javelins look a bit like Iron Man lol. Anthem has broken beyond belief. No comparison whatsoever.
No Man's Sky was more about expectations. I knew it wasn't going to have all the features people complained about because they never showed them. Every gameplay preview was exactly the same and sure enough...launched the same way lol.- Kean_11114 years agoSeasoned Ace

Also, the promotional videos and game play shown up to the release were not representative of the actual game consumers would get. .....there is a laundry list of broken promises of aspects that were supposed to be in the game and weren't. IIRC, it was within the first week that players were able to prove that you could not meet other players in the game. The MP element was a lie.
Anyhow, kudos to Murray for turning things around and sticking with it over the years. NMS is now at a point it should have been upon release.
In either case, I would not even compare BF2042 to NMS let alone CP2077. ....the latter which they pretty much stopped trying to improve unlike Hello Games did with NMS.
