@RayD_O1 the problem with breakthrough is how defensible some objectives are compared to others.
@UP_Hawxxeye Yeah I can see how that would cause what I was experiencing on certain maps.

@RayD_O1 Yes, they do get very congested. I only really switched to Breakthrough because it seemed to perform better fps-wise and rubber-banding-wise than conquest in the early stages, at least from my short experience of it.
I'd normally play conquest. In general, so often it seems to be one of 2 extremes - either too much going on around you or nothing at all. You don't get as much of that happy medium where there's a smaller number of allies and enemies contesting one area making for nice tight battles. It's either a frenzy of too much happening all around you or your doing a one kilometre jog all alone across a field waiting to be vaporised by a nightbird.
@UP_Hawxxeye Thank god for that! There's nothing more depressing than getting in a lift (elevator to our american chums!) knowing you'll almost certainly be dead soon as the doors open. Similar to the feeling of spawning on a flag you're losing when you see an enemy hovercraft circling it on the map.

Twitter in particular has way too much power over modern societies. Enough people could bring down companies with it.
- @FatherDed Yes indeed lots of kills for the prone camper waiting patiently for the doors to open. I read this morning that the Hovercraft's armour / weaponry is being nerfed. And also that a patch is due out by the end of this week. 🙂

IMO- The problems with BF2042 go WAY beyond simple fixes. The total direction of this game is a$$ backward to the Battlefield franchise. What numb nuts thought this was a good idea?

If this game went on sale (might be likely?) for 50% off or something I was thinking of grabbing it then. But with all of the missing features, bugs, etc. that have been talked about here, on Reddit, and well, everywhere it still might be a toss up.
