Match higher ranked players together!

There is nothing worse than constanantly being put in a squad of low ranked players that have absolutely no clue how to play this game.

Please for the love of everything holy, just put the higher ranked players in a squad together. At least that way the probability of having a decent experience is higher.

Key word -  probability. I know rank isn't everything.

Name one game in which SBMM is integrated and the community of said game thinks is a positive addition, everyone is complaining and it is for good reason, SBMM is for rank matches (which bf doesn't have) and i think is perfect to not have it.

Also most games with that on experience higher matchmaking times (and honestly i couldn't find on the internet a game that uses SBMM only using people already on the lobby) and although that is determined by your server and where you are i don't feel like waiting 5 minutes to be put on a 120 ping server.

if anything is a priority here is player retention and  having an actual anti-cheat. tryhards and noobs are something that its always going to exist, and however the match ends my recommendation is to try and have fun (and i know thats difficult sometimes)

(Also why if the average k/d is 1-2, the anti-cheat doesn't instantly ban people with k/d´s of 4-6?)

If anything we should ask for something more adequate like (Level-based-match-making) (because for the unaware battlefield 2042 has a big cheating problem) and adding SBMM would not only make the qeue longer but also put alongside or against cheaters because how SBMM works (Using your stats from previous games)

Unbalanced teams are a big worry of most of people and im not against devs taking measures on the matter, i´m against bad ideas, and SBMM is one of them.

And yes i just bring up that made up thing, LBMM (which is exactly what the OP asks for), is simple and i think it would work, you are new to the game, you get games with people with similar levels, and if you are a level 400 you should have the knowledge to adapt to the match´s phase, (even my suggestion is worthless if the game has low player retention tho)

-thanks for that reply, it really made me investigate about SBMM and im a litte bit wiser on the matter now, even i could just reply "no" and then make a joke about your mother´s weight, i think i´m too old for that

    xoxo

  • I gave DICE feedback on how to balance two teams years ago.

Simply add together the skill rating for all the players on each team.

For example if there's two players on team 1.

    • Player 1 = 50 skill
    • Player 2 = 100 skill
    • Adding both player's skill rating together equals 150 total team skill rating for team 1.

Then add the skill rating for all players on team 2 and compare it to team 1. If total team skill is not even between the two teams then swap players between both teams until it is.

DICE carefully listened to my feedback like they always do. As far as I can tell it was never implemented.

The nice thing about this team balancing system is it puts low skill and high skill players in the same server, then balances the teams.

  • The fact that there are many beginners means that BF is currently attracting attention. And there should be no skill matches. Beginners will be killed without knowing anything. They should not be forced to play the way they do. It is desirable for everyone to be able to play equally.
