Meanwhile the anti ground vehicle missiles of the Wildcat have both a great range and with a SOFLAM can lock on to aircraft and oneshot them.
The MBTs are just sad.
Clumsy, can be taken out with 4 M5 missiles which is the max a single soldier can carry in a game where everyone can carry 3 on spawn.
Their turret is slow and limited in angles and is the first thing to break if someone shoots at the tank, their blast is weak, their machinegun is doing the damage of a sidearm.
I keep telling people in my games to not waste armored slots on MBTs and level their wildcats

In my experience Wildcats are only a threat to a tank at close range.
I've learnt to engage them at distance and put them in their place.
I'm always checking the main map to spot the enemy Wildcat and then I hunt them down.
As for tanks in general and what I want.
- Increase acceleration speed from a standing start
- Sort out the broken reverse mechanics. The worst in the entire series
- Fix and also improve counter measures against AGMs otherwise tanks will just hide under bridges and underpasses all round
- Increase splash damage of main shell
- Fix broken 3rd person aim when close to objects
- Raise turret angle so good chopper players don't have an easy kill by pounding the tank while staying above turret max angle
I'd be happy with that to be honest. I don't mind a stripped down tank upgrade path after BFV.

If they work anything like LAVs in previous battlefields they are not very accurate over range so again as long as you keep your distance they shouldn't be a threat.
When I go hunting by the time the Wildcat works out what the hell is going on I've usually hit them twice already and they are 2 shots away from being blown up.
I seem to remember the LAVs in 4 or 3 were nerfed because at launch they were more powerful than a tank.

@Tank2042ManI started using the AT missiles since yesterday after a wildcat wrecked my vehicle with them from a really long distance.
Not only they are accurate at long distance, they can oneshot small to medium helis (with soflam). They are actually the opposite in that they are inaccurate when used at really close range. So right now I am running the wildcat with the 57mm + AT rockets. If the team uses the soflam, the enemy vehicles are in a real trouble.
- 4 years ago@Tank2042Man The thing is we shouldnt -have- to stomach a watered down experience, every other aspect of the game gets a meaningful upgrade so yes, I'm going to have to say I do mind having things kneecapped when glaring balance issues like this are present. And even in learning how to deal with MBT's vs Wildcat's in what would seem like more favorable conditions still has the WC under less pressure even in the most ideal conditions, engagements at range are more forgiving, the platform itself is just generally more forgiving and favors it in most every scenario. It's not about being able to hunt them, it's how effective they are no matter what the case is unless you manage to hit them twice before they find where you are striking from.
But yes, as for tweaks to the tank, those would be welcomed. - 4 years ago

personally i don't think any vehicle should have 3rd person view if soldiers can't, but that's just me
- 4 years ago@Psubond Infantry do not get stuck on pieces of terrain, or objects and don't have to contend with a large surface areas as their bodies nor are they limited to only going where wheels or tracks can take them. On top of that if this was done not only would this be more wasted time orienting the turret to see if you'll fit somewhere, that just leaves even more vulnerability to getting attacked without a way to retaliate against peeking and firing infantry or just having someone simply walk up to the side of your vehicle, but you know that already I'm sure.
Yes we get it, given your past posts, you want easy risk free kills because you dont like vehicles in a combined arms game, and want to be a superhero who can stab a tank with a knife and do damage.
