Hello DICE / EA , middle east server is dead we can't play the game, it's a waiting loop with 2-5 players in lobby and lets be honest no one will wait more than 5-10 mins for a match to start while EU server is full and matches get started within seconds , you either shutdown ME server and let the matchmaking include us in EU servers or give us region selection option so everyone get to choose where he want to play.NOTE: middle east server was actually off before update 3.1 and all ME players ny default were playing on EU server but after update 3.1 players number from ME got a spike and you thought that it's worth re-initialize ME server , well you need to track the stats of your game cause no one there anymore, just shut it down as temporary solution while you work on region selection option or even better server browser.Basically you are forcing us to use VPN so we can play.

@Lancelot_du_LacThey should backfill in AOW modes as well so all players have access to play BF2042.

@Lancelot_du_LacThis is the solution and gets my vote. 👍I say get the servers up and running asap and more players will join.There is way too much time spent in MM lobbies trying to reach the minimum number of players required to start the round.

@Raptor_i81 similar situation in Oceania. Only mode I can play is Conquest (during peak times), and Official Portal games (when they backfill with AI).

Middle east server is almost empty 24/7

DICE this is not acceptable , we have to subscribe to good VPN if we want to play Battlefield to force the match making to put us in EU server.
Either give us the option to select region ( forget about server browser ) , or shut down middle east server we don't have enough players and we can't change the situation and I actually prefer this as it's can be done instantly and it was already off before update 3.xx

Note: you can see all my other videos on my channel are on EU server, ping during my daily videos is 80-95ms that's another proof that I can only play on EU server but the problem is I'm using VPN , that's another variable and will only add more lag , packet loss and it's unsolvable problems.
Console players just can't play at all they can't use VPN.

What server you consider as good alternative for you to play on if have to choose other than Oceania area ? like if there is region select.

The downside is internet speed/ping would likely increase. Easier to just add AI backfill to all game modes.

Can this be put to dice devs that they let the servers to be filled by AI and when players join they take their place, cause for now i m done with that waiting 10-15 minutes.

Exactly, DICE please allow the AOW servers to be backfilled with AI to get games started.

Nobody has the time to spend waiting in MM queues.

Especially when a lot of the time the matches never get going due to players dropping out of the queue.
