I have had my gun jam quite a few times, but not sure it is a bug or if it is intended. When I remember to burst fire the Auto rifles I have not had a jam, but when I try to fire full auto I have had more issues. Has cost me some gun fights, but bullet bloom has cost me far more than that, can't seem to hit anything, but I can get killed from across the map by someone using the PP
- cornybbq24 years agoSeasoned Ace@zuddybear I also had this problem, specially with semi automatic rifles. Really annoying!
@zuddybearThis has been a bug in Battlefield for a long time.
Sometimes when you take a few shots, your gun will just stop shooting.
It's like getting shot completely negates any action, and sometimes even stops you from moving. If you've ever been trying to get through a window or something and take a shot or 2, you might notice your character will just not jump through it, as if the shots hitting you are preventing you from doing anything. Same thing happens with your guns.
So many times in a 1 v 1 I will start shooting someone, and when I get shot back, my gun just stops firing, even though there's half a mag left.Happening to me with the first DMR you unlock as well. Very frustrating.
- @zuddybear Happened to me these last few weeks. Is there a way to fix it?
This is one heck of a necro, however, I have never had a gun jam in this game.

This in my experience is not exactly a gun "Jamming" it's more like the gun stops firing. I think it is because the server see's you as already dead and ignores any inputs to the game. I've had it where my gun just won't fire no matter how many times i hit the left fire button.
Yeah, kind of an old thread to reply too.
