My morning of rage

Fire up 2042.

Spawn in on Discarded.

Run 500m to an objective, get deleted by a flanked Sundance.

Struggle through an entire game with only 4 kills.

Decide to switch to 64-player Breakthrough on Manifest as defense.

Spawn in, instantly die to Condor.

Spawn in, die to head-glitching prone PKP-BP.

Spawn in, move to retake objective, die to head-glitching prone PKP-BP as objective gets retaken.

Spawn in, die to M5 rocket from Sundance on top of a crane.

Log out before I put my fist through my monitor.

Only in Battlefield.

  • @AOD_moose004 I had like 3 games in a row last night that was just like this. It seemed like every time I spawned in, someone was there or watching that exact spot or waiting for me to finish my 10k run from being spawned out in the middle of nowhere lol.

Jack Frags said it best in one of his latest videos. Especially in 128 player matches, you just have to assume that you are spotted all the time with all the different scanning devices and abilities. I can't recall a shooter where I've felt like I'm instantly spotted as much as BF2042.
  • Battlefield is a casual game for casual players. It has been for years with its subpar tickrates, easy sniping and privileging of audiovisual spectacle over tight, balanced gameplay.

    Before you rage:

    • Leave server.
    • Find new one.
    • Profit.

Don't worry, the map design is second to none according to some who are level 70.  Sounds like perfect flow.  You cant. do. better.  (especially since all of AAA FPS landscape is a hell hole rn)
