While I think 2042 is a bad BF-game, the anticheat at least worked pretty fine.
But not anymore, just experienced my first "rage-hacker" in 2042. Someone going 77-0, in just a few minutes on Redacted (then I quit the game).
EAC seemed to work better than what we got now. It allowed things like RTSS and I have never seen a blatant one-shot-cheater while the game used EAC.
It has never worked fine that's why EA/DICE do not state figures.
The only players that get banned are the blatant stupid rambo's which still takes a few weeks.
99.99% of cheaters all they need is that advantage of knowing where you are.
Had one blatant cheater today a sniper actually aiming at players from the other side of thew map and one shotting as soon as they turned a corner.
Now 25 to 0 in 5 mins is good with a sniper i thought he was running a smg.
Next game still playing and openly admitting cheating.
EA/DICE only ban players who lose them money by not buying skins which most cheaters do just look at the amount of streamer's that cheat and still going after a little ban.
A single rage hacker, and this time it happened to be you who saw one. You can't have that as a basis to judge the entire AC system, there must be people who encountered them during the EAC period as well.
You think it worked fine before?
I have a few rage hackers on stats: 97-98% headshots across all guns including LMGs.
Reported months ago by multiple people - still an active account.
Another one about a month ago. 97 kills with an aimbot pistol. 77 kills the next game. Nothing triggered.
Don't kid yourself that there is any type of active AC.
The cheat programmers say EA AntiCheat is much easier to work around than Easy Anti-Cheat. They are happy with the change.

I miss the days of naming and shaming confirmed cheaters.
I love the "Splat" system lmao. It would be a blast to watch that happen in an actual match. A bunch of players dropping from the sky.
