Cannot disagree strongly enough. Specialists actually feel like they have identities now and fit under their respective classes, people will start having to remember that teamwork is actually necessary in this game, and a DICE can now actually properly balance a lot of gadgets, vehicles, and specialist kits since there are more reasonable limits to design arouns vs. "literally everyone can run a stinger".
When I saw teamwork in previous Battlefield games, it was not because the class system was there. It was because people teamed up or either went into the game mode as a solo player determined to play that way.
Other than XP incentives for following squad commands and getting team wins. There is not too much else that the developer can do. I don't hate the current classes, but I was enjoying the free loadout Battlefield 2042 experience that has been there for over a year. Now the game feels very unfamiliar.
