GPU & CPU MAXING OUT IN GAME MENU?
Can anyone tell me why in the game menu my cpu and gpu are maxing out driving my wattage up 1400....why it doesnt make sense it should be idleing in then the game menu.

This seems to be a very common issue. There are many posts about this in the forum. What helped in my case was to limit max fps for BF 2042 in my nvidia control panel.
Before that the menu was cooking my cpu.
I have AMD...not sure Adrenaline has that feature but I will see where I can do that...Crazy right it maxes on that screen I really would like to know what is routine is running behin that menu splash screen....
Pls check again your numbers... even with a 14900k and a 5090 ROG STRIX you can't reach 1400W....
