Just played redacted with a player going 80-4. Looked him up on Bf2042 tracker and he has 21hrs playtime 96% head-shot accuracy or better on all weapons. This is been happening since season 6 with the new map. LOL it is not a network problem!
I saw in one round of this map some guy getting 107-10 KD using the new dmr. But just shooting around and getting kills every time. something has happened when people are getting over 100 kills.
New anti-cheat is trash? Easy Anti-Cheat was better?
I suspect bans to come in waves like in the past. That way the cheat makers don't know what got them. Unless the new anti-cheat just blocks anything hooking into the game then all bets are off.
to be fair the new DMR is seems to be pretty OP at least on the receiving end.
Personally I also reached almost 100 kills on the new by only having 10 deaths or so.
It possible when you get really lucky at the meat grinder.
t's certainly got a lot worse over the last 2 weeks , lots of low levels going high KD anbd mostly have private profile set so you cant see them
Hi - ok then it is not just me that thinks this. Easy anti cheat (old) has been replaced by EA own developed anti cheat called AI anti cheat. Before it was rare I reported any but since new version it has been on a daily basis. Know that new stuff takes time but right now I like the old one better !
I mean I wish the bans came quicker with the new Anti Cheat but hopefully it catches a lot of these scum bags
I hope there is a Ban Wave incoming , if not then the new AC is total * and worse than EAC
If so then look forward to this game and any future BF game getting ruined by cheats and really not worth even trying to play or purchase any new game.
Not sure if its the engine they use but i remember the BF1 Beta riddled with cheats and that was before the game came out of beta so they need to do something as BF2042 has been a disaster up to now and just as they have turned things around if they let the cheats run rampant then they may as well forget the franchise ever doing well again.
The major problem with EA Anticheat is EA manually investigates each reported cheater before maybe banning them.
From my experience a manual investigation take about 2 weeks. So that's 2 weeks of cheating before maybe getting banned. I've seen some cheaters with hundreds of cheat accounts when searching their name in the EA app.
Easy Anti-Cheat on the other hand seems to make it harder for cheaters to bypass the anti-cheat, detects more bypass attempts, and bans cheaters faster.
I honestly don't know why EA switched from Easy Anti-Cheat since it's a free service.
My personal plan is to buy a ps5 and turn crossplay off.
