Why would you ever pick the DXR or any other sniper over this? This sniper has no bullet drop, extremely high velocity, and it can damage vehicles, making the ntw obsolete. Not to mention you can get 20 bullets in a mag along with having the option to go full auto or burst mode. It's worse than the BSV at release.
Wow, just watched Jackfrags reveal and the Rail gun looks like the most insanely OP gun ever created.

Yeah, after watching some of the gameplay footage available on YouTube it seems a little over the top.
I was kind of excited about it in the beginning because although I figured it would be powerful, I thought the rate of fire would be like the Mark1 from BF4 but the ability to go single/burst/full-auto with this thing looks a little nuts.
I'm fairly certain it'll get nerfed pretty quick from watching those gameplay videos.
It's also hitscan and has no bullet drop!
The new rail gun rifle isn't a sniper rifle this time around though. While it is an updated version of bf4s railgun. It is also more of an AR styled railgun. While the semi auto feature is more suited for medium to longish distance, it isn't like sniper rifle distance. Maybe a DMR distance or semi auto AR distance?
That does look very powerful. It'll be interesting to see what it's like in practice, but I think it might well get adjusted.
First nice name, even if you're not actually Enders I'm sure he'll still appreciate it, secondly as I said before I am pretty sure its gonna get nerfed pretty quick from the gameplay footage I have seen.
It did look a little OP killing tanks and infantry with ease.
I'm sure it will get adjusted after a bit.
