@UP_HawxxeyeI've also grown to love it during the first day grind. Learning all the different paths and peak spots gives immense advantage and you don't feel like the game is pushing you into the same area with other 63 meat bags.
At first I wasn't happy with it since I didn't know all the corridors and went into choke points where people explosive spam each other to death. But after figuring out my own paths around the map, it feels very well thought out.
Compared to Metro or Locker this map is fantastic. There is so much smoke everywhere all of the damn time that I can't see the map. It probably looks cool.

Yes, it is everything that metro and locker should had been.
Having so many flanking routes means that it is much harder for the round to devolve into a "beam struggle" between two teams spamming explosives at a main chokepoint. If one choke has too much defense, one just uses another route and this can become a war knowing where the enemies are so that you can bypass their positions and hit them from the rear.
Lots of detailed feedback, good and bad, keep them coming guys. 👍
In my recent experience the grenade spam has eased quite a bit in the last few games I have played.
How has it been for you guys. ?

Conquest
100,000 times better than 128 Exodus.
3 times as good as 128 Spearhead (the only map I enjoyed previously)
I'm still learning it, so I'll update this.
Just a quick note noticing a previous post about grenade spam - I'll take battling and fighting through granades and all heck breaking loose vs spending 8 minutes trying to actually get ANYWHERE on Exodus.
Exodus dysfunctional GARBAGE. Redacted, TREMENDOUS. Not perfect, but TREMENDOUS.
My early impressions this is to be an ALL TIME CLASSIC we see back time and time again like the off the charts legendary Metro/Underground.
No it won't, bf2042 doesn't even come close to the good old BF like 2-3-4, so this won't become an all-time classic like Metro

You literally just referenced a game when referring to a map.
To me an all time classic means it's better then all before so yeah, it depends on the game and the current version is an all-time worst gameplay
- Albake21z2 years agoSeasoned HotshotMassive Locker vibes, for the better or for worse. Although I'm a bit disappointed in not having any outside/flank section of the map like Locker. That's my main reason for liking Locker over Metro.
Other than that, it's decent. I very much do like the creativity and lore behind the map. - HugeBigness2 years agoSeasoned Adventurer
After about 8-9 games of Conquest I still have A LOOOT to learn about the map, there's a lot to it!! However nothing has changed for me, my opinion stands strong - this map is the BF experience BF2042 lacked for me this entire time.
I am in love with Redacted Conquest. For me it's by a northern mile the best map in the game, behind that, 128 Conquest on spearhead.
As truly spectacular as the other maps are, from a gameplay standpoint they can be thrown into the fail bin for all I care. To the devs who worked so hard on them, please understand, I do appreciate the brilliance of the maps, truly awe inspiring but.... Not for me.
Give me, Devastation, Metro, Locker, Underground, Al Marj, Rotterdam, Solomon Islands and REDACTED!!!! All day every day! I can't wait to get up tomorrow and get straight on it again lol
Explosives are a pest but we can't have perfection, everything has some good points and bad ones.
