Cheating on redacted conquest is absolutely ridiculous.
There are so many cheaters it is unbelievable, there is at least 1 if you are lucky. Most of the time there are several on each team.
It completely destroys the gameplay, you just end up spawn trapped and the round is over in less than 10 minutes.
It seems like at lot of people just want to stand there like mindless monkeys doing nothing but spamming nade after nade and shooting people in the base trying to push out. Became that is what it leads to.
For the love BF DICE, please update your anti cheat.
Why did punkbuster get ditched? At least cheaters got kicked from the game and banned.
There were cheaters in BF3 and BF4 but it was nowhere near as bad as it is now. It was hardly an issue in BF3 and BF4.
What happened to server admin?
Cheating has always been a problem but since BFV it is like you don't even care and EA doesn't care because cheats also drive sales with many cheaters buying at least 2 copies of the game so if one account gets banned they have another. Then they just buy the game again when the other account gets banned.
How about adding an incentive for players to report cheaters? Every successful ban of a cheater that someone reports, reward them with 5 battlefield coins or something.
Some people are able to react, move and shoot so fast it’s hard to understand how it’s possible at all.
Those guys get accused of cheating all the time.
A close quarters map like Redacted is exactly the type of map which the above people enjoy playing on.
So keep this in mind before accusing people left and right of cheating.
PS. No, I’m not saying 97% headshot rate isn’t cheating.
I’m also not saying there are no cheaters on Redacted (or elsewhere in BF2042)
I’m just saying there are some crazy good legit players out there.
- @VOLBANKER_PC Hi - agree 100 % and also the fact the nasty delay on servers - the no region control - the no ping limit is also a huge factor here. Some people have crazy good gear - good headphones - they can hear you coming. I use Beyerdynamic HS and the details I hear is crazy. I know exactly where the person is and sometimes people accuse me of wallhack and what else.
When I die instant and think hmmm - I look one or 2 persons in the kill - did I die way behind cover etc. If so it could be a high pinger joined and now mess with server. A 16 ms player vs a 200-300 ms player is not good on any server. That is not something new - it has been like this always since dawn of fps multiplayer games !I've been seeing a lot of low level players lately just dominating Redacted. Less then 40 hours in the game, yet they don't miss.
Everyday its a new one. I report them, and then I don't see them anymore a couple of days later. So maybe they're getting banned or maybe just bored.
I just wanted to chime in and say that it feels like there is a definite uptick in cheating lately. A couple of blatant cheaters, but mostly more subtle to try and make themselves seem legit, but with no hours in the game.
OK, never mind, just had a round with one of the Blatant cheaters. They've been playing all week. They have a small group, all have the same prefix in their name.
That's very inspiring...

It's only dumb cheaters who have such a percentage of headshots. Tricky cheaters only use the aimbot in direct shootouts or in a difficult situation that they rarely find themselves in thanks to wallhack. Basically, they use only a wallhack and can see all the enemy players, so they don't get ambushed and caught in the crossfire, always shoot first and with a prefire, come in from behind and make multikills in the back without any aimbot. Therefore, their percentage of hits and headshots is not much higher than usual.
Yeah there is that on redacted some awesome gamers it's fast furious dark & dingie you got to be quick or your on the floor crying for mummy medic lol 🤣
