New Year, so many cheaters
A month ago I started listing down every cheater and started reporting them. Most of them have a 95% headshot rate making the game terrible and one-sided. I notice that they do disappear, or at least...

I suggest a full refund, instead!
Lost appetite to play BF2042 anymore, waste of time = lost enjoyment on playing and lost money buying a cheating infested game.
I feel the same, don't think I have played a single round in months without cheaters. No matter what mode I play, conquest, breakthrough, portal, every single match I join has at least 1-2 cheaters.
Don't know what happened since BF3/4 but I hardly ever saw cheaters back then and punkbuster would kick cheaters from the game while they were playing. Now cheaters are everywhere and don't seem to get banned at all, some of the cheaters I reported 2-3 months ago are still playing and cheating.
PB is completely outdated against modern cheats.
And one thing is for sure, that cheating will not decrease with any of today's AC programs, because the cheat distributors always find a way to get around them (How else, can these companies survive)
Therefore it has to be some kind of AI that can sort it out these, and it still won't be completely cheat-free, but probably better than today. Here you have some information about how Cheats and Anticheats work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwzIq04vd0M
@SpoolaZ Interesting video! This is the reason I've given up on PC and will only play on PlayStation with PC crossplay turned off.
I would play on Xbox too, but PC crossplay is forced on with Xbox.
The new hacks these days are boring. Back in the day they use to have things like, rapid fire, enemy e-tags, unlimited ammo, players use to be able to fly around. Now it's just like some no recoil and wall hacks. BF don't need a wall hack you got the mini map and other gadgets to find the person.
I want to see unlimited rocket pods in the jet with no reload. Show me the real hacks!
I'm done with this game!! EA is incapable! I started with Battlefield 2, it continued BFBC2-BF3-BF4-BF1-BFV, I played over 1000 hours in each one. By pre-ordering the BF2042. We paid for the development of the alpha version..during two years! the beta version was being debugged and still the game is in bad technical condition. As for cheaters..anti cheat is laughable and manual reporting has no meaning !!.. During the whole game I reported at least 100 players... Over the years of playing I can already guess whether it is a skill or a cheater. Of course, not all of them probably cheated, but some of the ones I reported were 100% fraudsters..e.g. when playing not even 100, I throw the HS percentage well above 90 !! what do you think, did anyone get a BAN??..NOBODY! But when you report an insult in the chat... they hand out a ban for it immediately! Just write to the player who is from Russia and glorifies the war criminal Putin that he is not the brightest and he will report you and you will get a BAN for 7 days! Let EA introduce any bombastic continuation of BF, I don't intend to support this anymore!

@BlackhawkEDOthat is also way easier to get proof of that - it is the chat logs. The cheating is most likely not so easy to tell if a person cheats or not. I do understand your frustration - though I will admit yes we have many cheaters here - but still think #1 problem is the delay of things - the fact that servers runs on cloud servers. The fact that there is no region control nor ping limits on servers. A high ping gives you advantage compared to a low pinger because of the way game servers work.
In this game there is dozens of ways to get you spotted. But report is all we can do. BF 2042 is no where near the problem we have in e.g. BF 5. I play BF 2042 a lot and if I suspect a cheater wrecking the game then I leave. But be carefull not to see cheaters all over - most likely the delay thing is the reason. If you have below 20 ms ping then most likely you will have problems and get punished on the server !
I mean, of course the servers are cloud servers, though. I hate player-hosted-matchmaking, where if the "host" leaves then the game freezes and everyone else has to wait for a new host to be appointed before the game restarts (if it doesn't break entirely). The servers should be running in a datacenter somewhere, whether they are ran by EA or by a 3rd party like in BF4 and previous games [which would be my preference].
