October 2027 Will take two years to fix all the bugs in the new BF game
By that time PS6 will be out. EA would of spent all the time and resources in fixing all the bugs. They wouldn't of had time to work on a PS6 BF title. So, a PS6 title won't be out untill 2030.
You know that's a long time between battlefields. 2025 is a long way off, what is the issue that it would take that long to put out another Battlefield and is it tied into why we have gotten so few maps like a manpower issue?

It has been widely reported from multiple sources that DICE/Ripple has had a skeleton crew working on the game since not long after launch when the player counts dropped precipitously. Granted, EA/DICE have denied the accusations, but if that isn't the case then that is mighty disappointing.
