Some type of better matchmaking for lobbys probobly based on KD. Start the game with consoles only xbox/ps and then have the option to cross-platform with pc and you will more then likely keep lobby...
Console and PC players of equal skill are equals as infantry, with the PC side having a slight advantage in vehicle vs vehicle.
I suspect your problem is less about PC having an advantage and more about PC having retained a larger percentage of sweatlord players.
I was on PS3 during BF3 and then went to PC from BF4 and onwards, transitioning to PC was like playing on an overall higher difficulty.
Like I said, that does not mean that consoles do not have extreme players, but they are just fewer.

SBMM in other games has been a horrible experience for those involved. As much as it sounds good in theory, it creates a dystopia in practice.
SBMM is horrible. It messes with your game I feel like too much. One round you're a god the next you cant buy a hit marker.
SBMM has been complained about in every game that implemented it.

My only experience with it, at least the only one I can remember, was some COD beta I tried. It was quite jarring and I didn't really enjoy it. I'd much rather be all lumped together with varying skill levels through the teams.

Just ONE example of PC player superiority: Spamming the 'A' and 'S' key on the keyboard, glitching left and right while jumping in the air. (On the controller it takes time for the stick to travel to left and right position)
And...no i can not map left and right on the controller to achieve the same effectiveness and ease of use while holding the controller ergonomically.
But they say: you guys have aim assist and other stuff...
Lets just get rid of crossplay. Easy.
Let's just hope the next game is actually finished when released, that would make a nice change.
