@IICookieGIII think your idea is really great, the main point being the use of both NFT and creator content (and not player content).
There are a lot of talented digital content creator out there that could get make more or less of a living by doing exclusive/customised, high quality cosmetic content for the players to buy.
Using NFT, you make sure it's unique, watermarked, and non-modifiable, while securing the $$$ part of the deal.
Using professionals content creators (that have to go throught a validation process and have an official "shop" in-game), you make sure no creation is low grade, not compliant (like Nazy/hate/sexual content... I hear you on that) or have an impact on the game (like ultra low-viz or other game altering, borderline exploit content).
@ragnarok013I hear you, I have played long enought to know how nightmarish handling the community can be if you give them too much freedom.
That's where CookieG idea shine ; you're not ! You're giving freedom to professional content creator, that have to abid to the rules or lose their shop (and income)
A little team of curator/admin would suffice to monitor their shops, and as a creator becomes known/prolific, you can start checking less and less on them (they know the rules, they are not gonna break it if they lose $$$).
Sure, their would be a point to monitor: the volume of creation ; it would be a good think to limit, at first, the shear volume of content a creator can publish, and make content review mandatory before putting it on sale.
It would help to "ease in" the rules on the new creator, make sure everyting is under control and understood, before" letting go of the leash".
Sure, it would be another cashcow, but anyway, EA is gonna seek for such income sources (the CoD-way some would say).
At least, part of that money would go to content creators, and give the community an alternative to "official" content.
