I have 35-40k headshots in BFV and that was largely due to me always zeroing my scope to 150m and learning the bullet drop associated with that zero. And also being able to lean out from behind cover and lean back in again meant my crosshair was almost exactly in the same place (aiming at an enemy) whenever I leaned out from cover so I could lean in and out a few times quicky while I figured out exactly where I needed to fire to get the headshot. Having to actually strafe my character in and out from behind cover means the crosshair is all over the place each time I strafe out because strafing isn't a set distance like leaning is, this results in very poor experience for an experienced sniper who enjoys the accuracy of only going for headshots. Another core gameplay mechanic has been ruined by the lack of a very simple manual leaning feature.
It's like the BF franchise is moving backwards with regards to a lot of features.
I think the leaning might come back but I'm not missing it. It was a bit glitchy and you could find yourself getting shot by an elbow. The auto leaning that we had before should definitely be added though.
- 4 years ago@A_al_K_pacino_A I found leaning to work perfectly, I did spend a lot of time perfecting it though.
