Official Hardcore servers !

Hi folks.

I'm really scared when between every speculations and rumors i saw Community Managers from EA saying that official HC servers won't ever happen. Telling us that, well, there is Portal for that ... ammm wut ?

We will quickly cover that fact that progression is not properly enabled (yet ?) in Portal mode, to go straight to the core problem. Does this means that in the eyes of EA, HC is no longer a real available mode ? Where it was up to us to choose to use it or not. But just a bonus regelated to a bonus section of the game. Were we can have fun times to times but if we want to move forward in the game we must stay on none HC servers ? 

Beside being an utterly incomprehensible decision, I'm really wondering how long we will be able to run it on the Portal, on the long term. It's already freakishly difficult to find good servers on it. Does EA really think this is a viable "solution" ? 

What are your thought ?

    I would love to see HC! This match making thing is a real let down if I'm honest, sorry but it really is. 


    It makes for the same map over and over again, if you find a decent squad then it's all over when the map ends and so on.. It really does bring the entire game down. Finding a new server each map, I'm dumbfounded by this, I truly am.

    As far as Portal goes, well.. I've tried it a couple of times and the most amount of people I've found playing is about 3 or 4. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, I dunno.

    Battlefield is all about the conquest as far as I'm concerned and I've been playing since day dot. Not so much in the last few years as I have a new family (that and I prefer modern warfare, not WWI or II) but I'm getting back into it now. This match making thing really is a massive bummer, very disappointed with it. I enjoy the game, I do. Seeing HC return and tossing that match maker out would be great.

    @ragnarok013 Regardless of what was made in recent games, having a green/blue/custom color above your teams heads solves your issue completely, as it used to do in Bf3, BF4 and as it does in custom portal HC servers in 2042.
