Some of the T1 badges are easily gotten in pvp... Just need to find the right map for a specific vehicle or gear and you're good to go.
I worked hard to get my T1 skins on my favourite weapons but honestly that skin doesnt show I'm a great player... Its just a cosmetic thing that takes time to unlock.
Besides... people were getting T1 skins when the portal xp farms were still running so they also got it unlocked without actually earning it. At this point in time I just want the game to be better so I dont care about the badges...
I personally don't give a crap how anyone else plays the game or how they get their T1 stuff, if they even do at all. And the reason is because it does not affect me at all, not one bit. All this talk about T1 skins and unlocks and the way it is being presented, makes people sound like they are just stroking their egos. Get over yourselves! You play the game the way that YOU want to and others can play however they want to. Plain and simple!!
At this point who bothers about how players earn their medals or weapon unlocks. Really, who bloody cares how someone unlocks their stupid McKay T1 skin. I do not think that other players say “Amazing, look at this player. He has got the XY skin - he must be an awesome player and is my biggest hero”. That is just laughable - as if those medals or skins were worth something.
A game should be fun in the first place - that is why I liked playing the previous titles. And that is also the reason why I refunded 2042 after the beta. This game has more serious problems than medals or skins and the way you earn them.
