One New Map?

@Adamonic They did say some Portal maps were coming to AoW, but who knows when. But yes, 1 new map is pretty crappy. 

Just more false advertising. They clearly said "maps" before, now they are saying new "map". 

That is very disappointing. 

Good luck getting the new map with their crappy MM, instead you will be defending on Hourglass in BT for 10 straight maps.

Could be wrong but I think they stated before it was gonna be 1 map and specialist per season plus some other goodies. Not exactly new, but they were also tweaking current maps like Kaleidoscope, adding more cover and paths

That is maybe the biggest disappointment. Only one map for AoW.
Rumor is, there are 4 new maps referenced in the game files, so most likely 3 for Portal (I would guess one for BF1942, one for BFBC2 and one BF3 map). Let's hope these are good additions (especially Al Alamein makes me quit the game every time it comes up).

To add insult to injury they even said explicitly that the new maps will foremost be build for fun. WTF Dice! Why did you not do that already in the first place for your initial (small) set of maps?
Why was your goal for the first maps not fun of your player base, but more obviously to create the most tedious, boring open vehicle centered maps?

You won't be able to play that map anyway because of the lack of an aow server browser

I am actually having difficulty digesting the fact that Season 1 will launch without even a mention of a Server Browser / Persistent Servers. !

Just checking, is this actually a BF game, ?

One new map and no server browser so in order to guarantee playing the new map we need to play in Solo mode with bots.
