only 22 weapons??
a game this big only has 22 weapons to choose from.
4 assult rifles is a real shame to this game.
it is a proper let down and really disappointing.

- @nathdel18 And if BF 2042 had 100 weapons, they would all be just as useless and everyone would use the PP-29 or the oneshot sniper.
Not the quantity is relevant, but the quality! In BF2042, however, both are missing.... i do understand what u have said. i just think a game this good has so much potential, some shooters do get carried away with so many guns to choose from. but this is all out warefare and surely another 15 more weapons to the loadout would benefit a game like this.

Yeah, better they have just 22 broken weapons at launch than 100 broken ones to fix. I am sure they will ramp up weapons as DLC starts to roll out.
- @nathdel18 the real problem is that they didnt want to pay for licenses of weapons so theres that i guess
To quote a famous movie “welcome to the party pal!” I literally commented on this weeks ago.
The comments were mixed with a surprising amount of people against a large selection of weapons.
To me I want a variety of weapons and attachments and yea I did use about 85-90% of the guns on BF4. If I got bored of one I tried a new one. When I got tired of a class I tried a new class.
I can honestly say I didn’t use a lot of the shotguns. I just didn’t have a desire.
Like BF4 if you do it right you can have a large selection that is well balanced. The M4 was great at mid/long range but struggles up close. ACR great at close/mid range struggles at distance, etc etc etc.
Variety is the spice of life. You will probably always have those one of two guns you love but at the same time there is a joy/challenge about ranking up a completely new and different gun.

if you want to compete with the big boys then you need to go all out in my opinion @nathdel18Worse are the secondary weapons. One 1 pistol.
