Join in BF2042 & have decent games until the vehicle farmers just ruin every game by controlling the sky. Whether it be the Night Bird, Attack chopper, Super Hind or Stealth Bomber - there is absolutely nothing infantry can do to down them. You get a lock, they either know where you are immediately & shoot you or they flare & hide till it recharges. Zero chance to knock them out & it makes every round a waste of time. These OP aircraft ruin Battlefield without a decent counter like in BF4 & make this game unplayable

@Skull8Ranger It's been raised numerous times - you're screaming into a void. Been like that since day 1. Devs don't care. 2042 is dead now - play something else.

You can create your own portal server and disable aircraft.

That's not what flares should do, as they are intended to create a heat profile away from the plane to counter heatseeking missiles, not laser guided missiles.

If everyone selects at the same time, it should be a random system instead, as it would prevent the use of macros to gain an unfair advantage over other players.

As an infantry player i don't feel they are overpowered. I think other vehicles suppose to take out vehicles. Whenever i get into a chopper i am dead within 20 seconds.
They add a lot to the atmosphere in the game. I always feel like there are 2 wars going on in the game. Infantry war and vehicle war simultaneously.
Mostly they have their fight of their own going on.
I also enjoy running from building to building avoid getting killed by helicopters.
It is a battlefield thing to fight infantry WHILE getting shot at from the sky.
Because the lack of vehicles, i can not stand infantry gameplay on Redacted, Stadium and Haven.

little bird is the worst along with the stealth heli and stealth bomber..Little bird flares last too long and recharge to fast to even get a lock...The round is unplayable with a little bird going 100-0 in a round because no one can hit him. Their really isn't enough ground assets that that can take them out consistently. If those 3 are in the air you might as well just rage quit early and not waste your time playing that map...
