Origin or Steam / Which One / Steam Friends

Question

I have always bought my games on Origin but since Steam is now offering Battlefield I am wondering if I should buy it on Steam instead?&nbsp;

I know there is no advantage in game play, and I know you need Origin Launcher to play&nbsp;

BUT? What I want to know is&nbsp;

Can Steam players click on your name and add you as a steam friend and vice versa&nbsp;
or
does it only give you the option to add as a Origin friend
since you still need the Origin Account/launcher to play?&nbsp;

@MrOneOfKindSince the game leverages the Origin Launcher to play, it also uses the same friend system.

There is no app integration with Steam into the Battlefield series... sorry.

You could always cross-check the username in Steam to see if they have the same name there and add them, but there is no guarantee the usernames would match either.

As the Steam version still launches the game through Origin, it also uses Origin for adding and inviting friends.&nbsp;🙌
