Original Hourglass vs Silk Road on BF4

@JOGAGATYA I have played way more BF4 than 2042 and still think Hourglass is one of the worst maps ever made in a BF-game (both before and after the rework).
Silk road is not that great either, but BF4 worked differently from 2042 and it was not quite as bad as Hourglass.
The same goes for Golmud Railway in BF4, which is another open map. It still works better than Hourglass (and Golmud has a lot of vehicles).
BF4 has many issues, but is a way more balanced game than 2042.

I guess everyone has favourites and maps to avoid as well.
My personal worst map in 20 years of BF history is easily Reclaimed.
Since i play with friends (microphone on) i love the combined arms aspect of gameplay even more. On maps like Reclaimed there is no sense fighting together. The map is so small everyone just runs around for themselves. We talk, but not about the game, or helping each other.- @JOGAGATYA I'm an infantry player, but find that reclaimed is nothing special. It sounded good on paper, but in reality it is a boring map.
For me 2042s specialist system has made the game a total mess and teamplay (which was bad enough in BF1/BFV) is not almost totally gone. Giving everybody "special powers", have made people care even less about winning the games, helping their teams etc etc.
Also the progression systems are not helping either. People spend their time completing different tasks for the battlepass and often these tasks are not really helping PTFO/teamplay (like getting melee kills with Boris' shield etc etc).
I'm guilty myself. The game is so bad (not fun), that all I do is completing the weekly missions and then go play other (better) games instead.
