@TwentyValve You have no idea either though. Everything you said is speculation.
How do we know the map size is even an issue? Some of the maps are pretty big, but BF has had pretty big maps in the past as well. That’s not really new.
I also disagree with lowering player counts and making maps smaller. There’s a couple that need reworks, but they’re in the process of doing that.

@RaginSam LOL. Its not speculation.
when you shoot someone, then stop, and a moment later, they die. that's called lag. when you get killed in one shot by a gun that is incapable of killing in one shot, that's lag. this happens due to bad net code and lag comp. its compounded when you have 128 players in one game. that's 128 different connections that bad netcode and lag comp has to deal with. on top of that, add low player count and you have 128 players from all over the world with widely different connections. this means people with a ping of 20 are playing against players with a ping of 150. this makes the experience nearly unplayable.
this isn't speculation, its what's happening right now. just watch your in game network graph.
I'd be fine with large maps an high player numbers if they could make a game with good netcode and lag comp.
right now, they need to fix the core of the game, not make giant maps for 128 players.
but whatever helps you sleep at night.
