@Adamonic That is the positive result of them listening to the community. i.e Classes, AI with Full XP (well almost), Jet balance. Those are just some of the things I've wanted since Season 1 and its finally here. And here I am just hoping we get more than 1 new map a season lmao.

Wonder where did you draw conclusions that class, whoops sorry I mean gadget restriction will brought player back?In fact, after the 3.2 update, there was nothing but declining.
BF1 and BFV are both solid games, and due to their eras, some players like those better than current and futuristic stuff. 1 and 5 have been f2p for awhile now as well.
The biggest difference between those games and BF2042 is a Server Browser. In either of those games, even BF4, I can login and immediately choose the game mode, map, ping of the server I want to play on, and after the match, I can stay there as long as I want. I used to play for hours like that, especially when you found a great squad or team to play with. Very fun. BF2042 doesn't have that, it is completely random. I have not played Orbital or Manifest in at least a month, and those are two maps I like.
Such a shame Portal is still underutilized... but yo ucan still find some pure fun modes (128 Players Rush!).
