I think pearl market is too small a map for 128 players.

Rest assured @SirBobdk ,
The Pearl Market (actually it's jades..) in central Hong Kong has developed a lot since we were there last making trouble in May 2014. 😎
More floors on buildings and more streets expanding down towards the waterfront! 👍
You have the modern day map here:
Nathan Road is where the old map was blocked off inland. But the map designers had taking the liberty to put the waterfront just after the West Kowloon Corridor while in real life it was still like 1km further out to the west. But here in 2042, think its a fine place for us to have some fun again with more of our friends and enemies coming along. 😀

Only BF map i have walked in real life is Lumpini garden, based off Lumpini park in Bangkok, Thailand. The game version is quite different, but the overall atmosphere is pretty spot on, and key components in the area are covered.- 5 years ago

With my work I use to travel quite extensively, so had the opportunity to see most.
Btw just next to Jade Market in Hong Kong you have (had) a densely populated zone called Kowloon Walled City. It is just next to the Jade Market on the map I shared with you, and honestly think that is what the EA map designers had in mind when they made our Pearl Market map. But that name sound probably less exotic versus "Pearl Market". 😀
Over the years, the folks living there built more stories on top of each other, so in the end it looked like a totally wild place (and it was....)
You can probably find some documentaries about it on YouTube, as it used to be the most densely populated area in the world until the state started demolition in the early 1990ties.
It was a wild notorious zone literally without any police or law enforcement besides the warring triads, extreme levels of prostitution, gambling, and drug abuse.
-50,000 people living in less than 0.03 square kilometers...
Photo here just a few years before the forced removal and demolition started.
- TrasteTh5 years agoSeasoned Ace@CyberDyme Ah yes, I know it well, and have wanted to experience it since i saw pictures from there in my youth. Unfortunately it is too late for that now though.
Never been to HK, but I was very very close as I was in SE Asia for other reasons during the handover back in 1997, and I felt it was a once in a lifetime even, but it was not possible nor practical in the end.
