Performance on PlayStation 5
I don’t know what to put it down to. This game just preforms badly for me, feels like I’ve got crazy input lag, and I have to put 20 bullets into people, then legit die to someone in like 1 bullet. ...

100% I've been saying the same things as others in this topic, I have clips and have posted clips however they are mostly hit reg, but on PS5 there is 100% for sure other things going on and sensitivity being wonky and somehow changing or acting crazy at random times is just one of them absolutely.
Input lag as well, button inputs doing something else other than what I had pushed.
an example would be I push right to select on directional pad and it selects something else instead.
I have put aim assist and that zoom snap assist to 0 and there is not much of a difference but I had hoped it'd help sometimes it does seem better sometimes not.
also there is being frozen in time when being shot at and it is not just the being bombarded by any vehicle altho that I'd figure is quite obvious at this point for a ton of people, but if being shot at but another player there are smallish frame lockups/ stutter even when a sniper on the other side of the map takes pot shots at me it happens.
Mostly I am burnt out already, but I have been playing a lot well trying to, I don't do well and I know I'm not crazy , this is the worst I have ever done in any Battlefield game or any other online multiplayer shooter and I'm not saying that I am a pro, but I mean it's just sad and not much fun,
also I have being playing my most recent times w the 50 cal and have clips of it being busted and it is supposed to get nerfed when I question whether or not projectiles are even coming out of the stupid thing or just exploding before, this is outside of hit reg issues.
but something is 100% wrong w controller inputs and the sensitivity and or it is a framerate / lag issue
@MegatronNerd Yeah, feel like that’s exactly it, it just doesn’t feel fun when it doesn’t work.
Would recommend playing the last gen version now, it’s definitely go it’s flaws but I’ve had a lot more fun on that, than on the next gen version.
The biggest thing was my hits just seemed to hit, when on the ps5 version it felt like nothing really mattered it was a coin toss really.
Not to bloat but I was pretty decent at bf5 and backed myself to win gun battles, but on bf 2042 ps5 version it felt like I was more likely to loss ever battle even with cross play off.
When back to last gen and go like 20 and 3 first game, but the thing that felt good was my shots felt like they hit and not just completely random

- @Steven88 same here I usually say I am not a pro but I can also do fairly well, but not at all here, also just lose interest in playing whatever for that long, getting pretty well burnt out done w this really quick.
- @MegatronNerd Yeah, just feels so hard like it just doesn’t feel consistent. More frustrating, really going to just play last gen till they get some fixes
