It’s allready bad enough that she can see you through walls, completely destroy stealthy flanks and whatnot.
Or create some sort of device that protects you from being spotted, maybe let Irish sentinel create an small emp zone that negate spotting devices.
Her ability is just not counterable, you are spotted 24/7 inside the containership.Paik is fine as she is, yeah she may have more of an advantage on the new map but on others not so much so just leave her alone for the love of god!
Nerfing everything is just not the answer!
@emerson1975they buffed her, she didnt need buffing. she needs to just go back to normal. Her wallhack is OP as it is. Now she doesnt even show on the minimap when she activates it. Now everyone and their dog is Paik because she always knows where you are, without ever knowing where she might be. May as well just let people with 3rd party wallhack cheats play because that is basically what she is.
At least before the buff you had an idea of where she might be coming from, and with such an OP ability it was fair trade (almost). Now its just downright cheating basically, no different to an actual cheater

Reverting her changes won't have an affect on the container ship. There's just too many bodies highlighted that its just complete disarry. Her being shown on the minimap or highlighted won't make a difference when there's so many bodies highlighted around her.
A stealth device is something that would counter her but that's going to chew up more resources from the developers and take time to implement. It's probably an idea that could make season 3's classes overhaul as a stealth gadget but what's going to happen it the meantime? Pure havoc.

In my humble opinion, Paik could use an overhaul instead of joining Boris in the dumpster tier.
Have you guys considered retooling her scanner into limited range infa red vision goggle's which would still give her an edge in the dark and smoke but not through objects

- @Straatford87 I saw this idea on Reddit. I thought it was a good idea. Make her emx just a thermal sight. That way it won’t be wall hacks essentially.
Oh I remember killzone 2 with invisible snipers and nobody complained and he had a similar ability to paik but people just got on with it without crying nerf every 5 mins!
I don’t even use her but it’s getting rather tedious hearing it every day just because she killed you!

Folks learned to counter and look for the invisible snipers in Killzone 2. I don't understand why people are crying so hard to have Paik nerfed. IMO it isn't really all that gamebreaking when all the characters have access to the proxy grenade and can essentially do the same thing as Paik, but still have their specialist ability.
- @Straatford87 Getting Paik murdered in smoke on Stranded 24/7 very much feels like Apex Legends. I like Apex, but it feels weird inside BF 2042.
Really shocked the Boris stationary turret was nerfed as it made one player highlighted at one time, but Paik lighting up an entire squad inside smoke is acceptable?
That said, it is kind of funny seeing 60% of the players running around with the goofy Paik "party hat". Add a couple of beer cans to that device and we can call her "Doomslayer"...HA
