Pilots non aggression pacts
Hello This is the time for my monthly post about pilots on both teams having non aggression pacts and just ruining everybody else's experience. There is no doubt theses pilots are talented, they ar...
I've done exactly that, I've received emails indicating that no actions had been taken.
This behavior do sabotage the team and I understand that can be difficult to prove after the fact but they are not that many of them and get reported a lot (incorrectly for cheating) and legitimate reports get overlooked. That is why I'm bringing my concerns to the forums.
@RanzigeRidder2Here is how it happens from my own experience of agreeing on nonaggression with the enemy pilot:
Usually it happens for 2 reasons
1 - Both teams and outright dumb and don't bother with targeting helis. In that case, me and the other pilot get very close to each other but don't bother with killing each other because we see that farming is easy and we both look like experienced pilots so the outcome of a 1v1 is unknown. So we end up silently agreeing on farming crops down below.
2 - We actually engage in a fight but both withdraw with >10% health. I've received that message from the enemy pilot and wrote it myself to others. It goes like this - Don't touch me, I don't touch you and we farm.
You get "+" response and its happy days farming from now on.
In BF2042 its especially annoying to dogfight since there are so many other factors that ruin otherwise fair experience - Overpowered Wildcat, overpowered TOR(Not anymore SoonTM), annoying Lissiles, hitscan rocket launchers, ex Microsoft support scammer trying to hack your vehicle etc etc etc...
It's a way to make already terrible gameplay design a little more enjoyable for at least 10-15 minutes.

This is pretty much my experience of being an infantry player at the moment. Downing OP air vehicles requires too much co-ordinated team work - which basically doesn't happen in random matchmaking - as there is no incentive, and people just can't be bothered or are too focussed on ground vehicles and other infantry. It's basically too hard - air vehicles are moving too fast and it requires a few people with exactly the right loadout using comms to do anything effective.
The only effective counter to air vehicles (thanks to DICEs constant buff of anything that may damage a helo) are other air vehicles, but as described above - they usually don't even bother attacking enemy vehicles, because it's much easier and more satisfying to farm defenceless infantry. DICE need to do something to address this, either through penalising pilots somehow, or giving infantry the power to fight back without the need for a "perfect team" of other players.
And soon we can’t even hack enemy aircraft and force them to withdraw for a little while, it seems.
