i have seen some strange creatures and takes on that toxic wasteland of a website....
Read the notes, it's a defacto nerf, but the tightened turning angles is a good thing actually.
Shame DICE did not balance heli's, nor did anything to the ridiculous physics of the littlebird, nor did anything to the absurd flaresystem.
How come pilots dont need teamwork to solo-farm a server and infantry need all kind of coordination to get some teamwork going to try and down a sweaty pilot?
- Man_iLoveFishing3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Wargame_Enj0yer what makes you think they don't teamwork? They do. Infantry doesn't need much to down attack helicopters with proper mindset and squad.
What's wrong with flares?
And what's wrong with nb? - 3 years ago

You’re actually wondering why a single infantry player can’t consistently take down a helicopter by himself. Lol. Keep that soft shell helmet tightly fastened.
- 3 years ago@disabled_tweeker No, I'm actually wondering why pilots dont need teamwork to dominate in this game.

Depends on the copter

@Wargame_Enj0yerThere's one attack aircraft at any given time per 64 player team in most maps
thats why they are strong offense vehicles.
Its actually sort of impossible for two nightbird pilots to co-operate on most maps because only one can be spawned. - UP_LordPlumber3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Wargame_Enj0yer Maybe because pilots who are capable of solo farming are actually good and spent an insane amount of time learning that one specific thing?
How come people are ok with players who are farming infantry on foot. Getting 70-80+ kills in a single conquest game. Yet pilots who do the same thing are instantly not allowed?
This has bothered me for so long. I keep dropping 50+ kills pretty much every single game on foot, and nobody complains about it. But as soon as I get into the littlebird and start dropping same amount of kills, instantly reddit and forums blow up calling me a heli no lifer.

Whats the difference? You know the difference… you’re not going 50-1 every round as an Infantry player. Now contrast that to a Nightbird going 80-1 every single round. That’s nearly double the kills and with very few deaths.
I don’t understand this obsession with wanting an overpowered vehicle, while balancing everything else separately.
It’s not fun or good gameplay trying to take down a helicopter for the entire round. There’s a lot more ways to counter ground vehicles effectively. That part of the game is balanced much better. There’s a big difference between the two parts.
This topic has been beaten to death at this point. The only ones defending air vehicles are the ones abusing it. I have not seen any of you budge even the slightest admitting that maybe it needs a little balancing. You’re happy with it being a tool that you can easily, with average skill, farm infantry. Yeah, I’m sure it’s so annoying to hear the constant lock-ons that never actually hit you. What a tragedy.

@RaginSamBut you don't get 80:1 every single time with nb. Only when there is no resistance and it's up to your team that will or won't let me to fly.
Edit: Also, most of the kills I get on nb are unaware of me.

DICE doesnt think so. See the comment they made in their nerf announcement.
I literally LOLd. They are increasing the skill cap on Lis to, and I quote "Ease up on the vehicle player experience". Apparently 5 deaths are causing pilots to seek counseling and DICE believes the pilot skill set to be trash. Prepare to see all these "skilled" pilots hovering above nodes farming infantry and if one lone Lis still hits them, they will be back here whining.

Is this a troll? If not, I will answer just for the sake of presuming youre being honest. Because you cannot fly away on foot to a place where others cannot go without dying and heal. Because, when youre on foot, it doesnt take a special weapon to take you down and you have to sit there with a big red light on you waiting for someone to gank you while your ammo is on its way to hit you. Because while I am standing there aiming, 4 times. Because....

The difference is exposure. Youre probably getting killed 7-10 or more times while you're getting 50 kills. You cannot outrun me on foot. You cannot run out of bounds and hide to heal while on foot. You do not carry a healbot on foot (sans falck) Birds might die once. Might! You're either being purposely obtuse or you're a troll.
