@ATFGunrYep me too. Such a shame EA/DICE stopped allowing the stats sites access to the data starting with BFV.

It was stopped during BFV as the player count started dropping off very fast after launch and the player numbers for BF1 and BF4 had both more players on versus BFV.
If the player stats had been great, no doubt they would have been flaunting the numbers in every single marketing splash coming out.
And I so wish that the industry would become more transparent overall, as that is required for all to really understand what works with customers and what does not.
Big influx of players with low ranks. Pity a lot of them seem to be dodgy as all hell too, given they're always topping the servers against more experienced players.
So at the tail-end of Thursday December 1st here's the 24 hour peak.
Will Friday night bring in the steam players, only time will tell?
Friday night peak numbers are in and we now see the free promo has had an effect.

But will it be able to retain the players?

I really hope so. 👍 - Kona_uk3 years agoSeasoned Ace
@Tank2042ManIt will never keep those numbers.
Putting the game on ultimate will keep a few players but there's nothing exciting about the game at all.
DICE/EA just pushing you to play to unlock weapons with rubbish season pass system. This makes you hate the game more because you see more of the short comings of the game as a whole in the process.
Cheaters a plenty as its free to play not that EA/DICE care any way never seen anyone banned for blatantly cheating.
EA/DICE want us to do the detection for them as were the anti cheat system as they have no interest in investing in keeping the cheats away. As always the consumer suffers to fill the pockets of a few. - @NazT55 No, that's a given, most players just like playing for free.
The best they can hope for is improving its tarnished reputation but browsing the main reddit sub it seems a lot of people are on a long term mission to keep trashing 2042 no matter what.
Very weird behaviour if you ask me.
