@PsubondIn my honest opninion equal reason for the Irish Sentinel to be changed big time (removed). The fact that one gadget can change that much with litterely zero effort is just bad game design. Should have limited charges at the very least and a long cooldown.
What's worse the enemy has zero feedback on what's happening, can't tell if your nade missed or just vanished with a bug.
If they ever introduce an actual meatgrinder it'll be so bad because of this. Games shouldn't be decided by things like this. And I think Rao will ruin it equally, just randomly see enemies running behind a wall..... such a terrible idea.

all the sentinel does is remove grenade spam and restore taking a point to gunplay. grenades require zero effort and create a no mans land (remember metro and locker?). if irish is present and using sentinel it gives the opportunity to push through with gunfire

@PsubondDont think if that would really be an issue that this should be the fix to. In the end the team that loses their sentinel or has none just proceeds to get wiped by explosives so result is the same.
And still can be the fix but instead people have to time their push with their sentinel instead of it just being their the whole fight. This and the Rao hacking is just implemented very poorly.- 4 years ago@doubleome Becouse nading your way through takes skill… if we are gonna go that way you need a better argument.
An Irish sentinel takes no skill in using it, that’s right but it takes knowledge where to place it so it don’t get destroyed by bullets or c5
Furthermore an Irish sentinel "restores“ skill since you have to youse your gun to either kill the Irish and/or the sentinel.
But the way I read this it seems you are a angry Sundance Main with ammobox and grenades in the loadout.
No easy explosive fragging for you when I’m arround.- doubleome4 years agoSeasoned Ace
@BolvardAre the personal attacks really necessary? Especially about something that wasn't even said.
Anyway back to Rao, just feel they can implement him better. I was surprised to see the lack of depth as well, many specialists have an alternate option for their abilities but was sad to see it was very very 1 dimensional.
Noticed a bug with the hacking mechanic as well yesterday, I ran passed a doorway which had a friendly standing in it, when I ran passed I saw a Rao hacking the friendly but the friendly died. But since the hack was already charging on the friendly and in that split second I passed by the door and the friendly died the hack carried on to me without delay. Instant hack no warning.
