It's blatantly obivous recently that there is an issue with the console aim assist especially now PS offers free Battlefield. I see so many new accounts just headshot headshot headshot constantly, they have insanely high HS% compared their overall performance and compared to what people normally would do with those weapons. This wasn't the case a few months back.It's like fighting bots that randomly have 100% accuracy and will kill in the fastest TTK possible, I don't even see insanely skilled players on PC do this kind of shenanigans. These aren't gun fights happening in Battlefield these are predetermined fights.On PC with a mouse if you are bad or make a slight mistake your aim suffers an insane amount, the difference between good, bad and a consistent players on PC is really big. On console especially in Battlefield I feel they are never insanely good (disadvantage controller gotta give them that) but they are never bad either, the game is doing all the shooting for them in Battlefield.Doesn't feel great when you see someone move like a bot just mow people down with ez. I think it's the tendancy of the aim assist to go for the head that seems to have changed, when before my understanding was that the one thing the aim assist doesn't do is go for the head. Especially in cqc fights the aim assist seems to find the most impossible headshots.

It is the crossplay netcode. At first I thought it was AA, but Console players have the same issues when they encounter PC players. What is happening is both sides are experiencing two different situations at the same time. When a Console player kills a PC player, it feels normal, but on the PC side, they are insta-killed and it feels like an aimbot.When a PC player kills a Console player, it feels normal, but on the Console side, they are insta-killed and it feels like an aimbot.The netcode, 45Hz tick rate servers, lag comp, etc are sooooo bad, none of us are playing the same game.

@Skill4Reel It is a failure. Unfortunately there's no way around it at this point. You ever turn off crossplay and find a match often? No you most likely didn't. It's almost impossible to find a match without crossplay on. A lot of people want crossplay gone but when they try to turn it off, they can't find a match so they turn it back on so they can play. They need to just remove crossplay between console and pc that way its fair across the board and people can actually have fun with that game. There's plenty of people playing now so we don't need crossplay

@doubleome I said it before and I say it again……. Crossplay with Console vs PC is not working. And as a console player and many like me would rather them just make it Console only Crossplay. Us Console players have had aim assist in all of our online shooters since I can remember, and I’ve played mostly all of them that have came out in the last 16 years.So there’s no way they are going to remove it while playing against PC players, in fact, they will make it a little stronger, because everyone knows that mouse and keyboard players have much more of an advantage, when it comes to movement, and fine aim along with the snappiness That Console players don’t have with analog sticks.They need to either reverse it back to the old ways when everybody was fine playing with other players, from their own platforms, Crossplay between Consoles only, or make matchmaking input based only.

You have no idea how janky it feels to aim at enemies on console. The input is bugged just like on PC. Its easier to counteract the bugged input on a mouse then it is on the controller. The aim assist could be reduced for controller, sure, but they need to fix the input first. Nerfing the aim assist without fixing the input would result it controller players putting the game down en masse.

@doubleome The aim assist is absolutely awful in this game. I find it funny how pc players complain about it despite it barely even working half the time. Honestly the worst aim assist I've had in an first person shooter. That's one thing the Call of Duty has up on Battlefield. At least their aim assist feels good and actually helps with aiming on console.

At this point, Im just waiting for Gyro Aim to be implemented like MW2 and Fortnite have for PS4/5. We dont use (nor need) Aim Assist since it mimicks a mouse in intuitive responsiveness. Just a much better gaming experience and better control over your character without the need of aim bots assisting you. And the physical movement is about the same as using a PC mouse, contrary to what many believe thx to the pitiful Wii days lol.
Much prefer BF games over CoD but kinda sucks not having Gyro Aim for the many of us that use it...

It's not just console players bro, I was an Xbox boy, and all this crazy insta death nonsense started with the launch of bf3, under the guise of bad netcode, it's new players and poor players are given advantages to keep them playing and potentially make more purchases, via microtransactions.
I've been vocal about this ever since, only ever to be met with John trollvolta, and the inevitable mad becus bad bro remarks.
It's always the same, when I was on Xbox, pc players would insta kill me, when I'm on pc Xbox/playstation players insta kill me, regardless of what platform you're on, low level players or players who clearly can't get a positive kd insta kill me, make it make sense.
I'm by far not the best player in the world my stats are shot because for the most part I've played conquest on my own. But I can go on TDM and get 26-1 many times so I'm definitely above average.
