@Stew360 It did though. Classes promoted teamwork by letting you know exactly what kinds of kits your squad was running, and without classes or UI elements showing this in 2042 we can't complement our squads kits.
The scoring system has been gutted and where you'd previously get experience/rewarded for suppressing for your team/squad or proper experience/rewards for assists on vehicles, there is none of this in 2042.
It doesn't have to be "THIS IS EXPLICITLY STATED THAT THIS IS A SQUAD MECHANIC", it's expressed through design as it should be.

You need players in the first place before last few dev's will look at issues.
EA have cut all funding for this game, dice have been told to use minimum of staff to improve the game as it is now considered as a loss saving project.
- RMEChief4 years agoLegend@Kona_uk yep with 2-3K active players, the return on investment is negative to just keep 2 employees working on the game, let alone a full staff. They will do the bare minimum in between, release the 4 seasons they already have built and just have bug fixes, then move on from this title as quick as they can.
