@BownrInSweatPanzThe way it currently works with exiting a vehicle like a tank in 2042 isn't even a "risk" especially now you can have insta-directional-teleport exit and instantly gun someone down that has to place 3x C5 onto it to defeat it.
I'm not saying you shouldn't be able to exit a vehicle. I also think directional exit should be a thing providing there is an door or hatch in said direction.
I remember how exiting vehicles in BFV was now. It took a long time to exit due to the animation. So if you bailed out of a plane at flag A, you ended up at flag B by the time the animation finished.

Just played some BFV with a friend. All the animations were awesome!!!
i love how animations slowed down the game and made it more immersive. I was absolutely in awe looking at my friend kneeling down to revive someone. The whole animation!! Wow! In BF2042 the soldiers just poke in the air often looking in a different direction. Speeding up things in BF2042 like ‘appearing’ outside a vehicle look ridiculous and are bad for your ADHD.
waiting for exiting the vehicle and worrying about making it or not before getting blown up is exciting in BFV. Takedowns are all first person too. Amazing.- I_DYN4MO_I2 years agoSeasoned Ace
@JOGAGATYAI agree! And to those who think the animations are too slow I'm sure they could speed it up a little bit and find a middle ground. I understand fully 2042's a faster game.
The teleport cheese is ridiculous and lazy. Another legacy feature they've not bothered with yet they charge us more.
- Anobix2 years agoSeasoned Ace@I_DYN4MO_I I think that the "legacy feature" is entirely dependent on the game. BFV had the animations, but the previous ones didn't. So which is the "legacy" feature? At least you're halfway there with having an animation to hit when someone is getting back in their vehicle instead of instant teleport in and out.
