No, just release the game on November 19, 2021
Latest rumor say the beta was from about 7 weeks ago. I think that is enough time that the game will be reasonably decent upon release. Add to that there is rumored to be a 10 day and 25 day builds in the works so we can anticipate some quick patches. To top that off, Portal will likely allow for some community driven balance and/or playstyle variations that can act as either solutions in it of themselves or as distractions while official builds are released to address things beyond the capability of Portal.
Also, further delays would likely hurt sales which in turn may negatively impact funding for further content for both BF2042 and its successor.
Honestly Portal is the real wildcard here. How much you can do with it and how reliably it works is really going to be a huge factor in determining the value of BF 2042 for me personally. If Portal is strong I'll gladly open the flood gates and support Dice with season passes and the like.

Just look at the delay of Halo infinite, the delay did it good, and is the only beta in recent memory that felt ready to go.
