BattleField 4 took 10 months to iron out most of the problems that came with launch. I expect that 2042 will be the same. The Beta as everyone now knows was the parts that worked best and did not show 95% of what 2042 is.
The portal is the best idea Dice has ever come up with.
I do not know when you started with the BF series, but BF was the best when we had rental servers, control and a community imo.
Now there's a chance to get it back and build up a community again.
