I was in there today on both versions, console and pc and there's over a dozen servers opened by different people for weapon and attachment unlocks, all with 4 players in each when they allow 64. All I want is a decent game of hardcore, fair for everyone, infantry and vehicles. There's only a few that offer this, GERM, HAPPY HARDCORE and K2C. If you're a farm boy, or girl, or other, try these servers and level up the right way by gaining experience, please.
or you could just build your own server the way you like? no one is forcing you into portal or any of those servers
I personally don't play portal, but as Psubond mentions you can make your own server the way you want to play can't you?
yes you can, that's your prerogative. Unfortunately there isn't a HARDCORE option as yet in the options so portal is the only way to play. The core version isn't exciting enough for us old school players so portal is my home every day. I get frustrated when there's no servers open because all the people online are in the aforementioned.

have you made a server the way you want the game to be?
