@threedog1421 Yes, that is the case with Gold and Ultimate editions and I was hoping that there would be a physical version sometime before launch. At this point, only standard has physical. Looking at one specific retailer, Best Buy in this case, here is the info attached about the preorder steel book:
“Store your Battlefield 2042 disc in this SteelBook case. The front and back feature separate metal pieces for exceptional durability, and the detailed game-inspired interior and exterior graphics add flair to your media collection. This SteelBook case has a plastic core to keep a single CD or DVD secure.”
In addition, the description lists the media as Physical.
