@locked_n_cocked On Xbox you have 2 versions of the game which can make the download seem close to 100 GB. And this is if you install the old console version and the new console version. I dont need the old so it was only half that basically.
- 4 years ago@ghinavirus ahh that makes sense. But in the SSD/HDD requirements it does say 100 GB. 47 GB seems small considering BF1 and BFV are much larger. I was just expecting a larger install but im not complaining if 47ish GB is all it is!
- 4 years ago@locked_n_cocked I thought the same initially. No campaign though so that reduces it somewhat

@locked_n_cockedAh, the explanation is that they cut out the Portal part and they will release that as a separate title due to community demands.

The 100gb requirement is likely because there has to be enough room left to unpack/install it after downloading.
If the installer is 47gb, the install would require close to 100gb toal during install/before the installer is deleted after installation- 4 years ago@BizzyVaping I thought that might be the case but I went down in my HD space the exact amount that it downloaded. Maybe when the game is able to launch it will unpack itself and take up the rest of the space. Ahh well, it is what it is.
And that YT video got me!!! reminds me of the south park where they went to troll trace and everyones briefcase opened up and that video was playing!
