Premium pass does not transfer between platforms

So  originally  purchased ultimate  on my xbox my xbox has premium pass however low and behold  ps5 does not the pass is tied to your platform account not EA really bad move

@denogginizer Progress across platforms is already available - I have transitioned from PS to Xbox, and my progress was transferred.

I am speaking about purchases (year 1 pass). The year 1 pass evidently does not cross over.

    @denogginizer I noticed that. Not optimal, given you have paid for the game twice!

      Roger. I bought a second copy because there is no in-game VOIP on console and thus chose to buy the Xbox version so I could utilize party chat with friends.
